Created out of two beautifully restored heritage buildings, Gorgeous George is the first in Cape Town to join the Design Hotels™ stable, a hand-selected worldwide collection of privately owned and operated design-forward and culturally rooted hotels.

THE PENTHOUSE
9th on George is a fully equipped three-bedroom penthouse featuring two en-suite bathrooms, a freestanding bath, two private balconies, and a modern kitchen—ideal for extended stays. Access is via elevator to the 7th floor, followed by a short climb of just 40 stairs to reach the 9th floor.

Gigi Rooftop serves up a unique take on modern classics, think casual cuisine with a twist. Knowing where your food comes from is as important as the food itself, so we’re focused on sustainable, ethically-sourced produce from free-range eggs, artisanal cheese, pasture-reared beef and line-caught fish from sustainable fisheries.

DIRECTIONS
Drive down Longmarket Street past the market sellers, look out for the ‘Gorgeous George Hotel Guest Parking’ sign. Turn right onto the paved St. George’s brick road/walkway, and drive approximately 15-20 meters until you see another sign pointing left for the hotel parking. There is a boom for the hotel parking to the left.
